[Poem] O Vivid Fleeting Self.
[Shot From Hirokazu Koreeda's "Afterlife". Most Certainly Fitting]

O vivid fleeting self
is it a trance
you could tell
Sprained you are
and I, distraught
of this unceasing,
rampant naught
words wouldn't tell
eyes wouldn't see
is there a bereaver
for such company?
spare, spare,
spare anew
Dost thou not know
a remembrance due
O vivid fleeting self
I do know
I can tell
all hath come
both misery, hell
and standeth I
unhol-ly dyed
victim victim
I had lied
Sad vision
An impoverished life
youth though
a godly blessing
seers through
Distressful stressing
O vivid fleeting self
I know now
I'll know again
Back then,
Now
And back again
'twas always I
At my own refrain
Had, hath and
Shall always have
I upon myself
Totally, fully, and more over
I, I, an I all over.

I would love to hear you recite this
