 Listen, listen, O empty heart racing Must not you crave, so dearly pacing Wonders above and down below Await the one not yet forsaken

Pleasures all for you to know

He who hath no soul

Sing along your dear misery

Shout about your loving pains

Dream all the heavens to be

Force them to reality

To reap all, all there is to sow

He who hath no soul

A fight to fight, test your will

To take it out, you surely will

sweep the eternally recurring anvil

Hear, tis not only a dream

Come yet, there is more to know

He who hath no soul

What sticks, survives keeps alive

Think not purely from your desire

There is more to man than play

call it love would be no lie

A great high resembling the bottom low
